I normally have so many things to say when it comes to writing a review of a product but when I write about baby carriers and babywearing, I feel pictures definitely do most of the talking. There are only so many words you can use to describe the insurmountable joy a mother gets from having a close, special bond with their own flesh and blood. The tender touches, the soft kisses, the gentle snuggles and the skin to skin contact. It’s a sweet part of motherhood that I personally can’t image living without and I wouldn’t trade for anything.
Ring slings are fully adjustable baby carriers that are great for quick “ups”. I love using ring slings with my itty bitty newborns, but they are also quite handy when I’m already carrying my toddler around on my hip. Once he decides he wants to be held, there is no talking him out of it. In those cases, I like the convenience of the ring sling. It’s also great for keeping in the car so I can run into a store with him easily.
I think I wear the ring sling the most at church though. It’s perfect for wearing my son during service on Sunday morning since it’s easy to get him in and out, easy to adjust and comfortable to wear while sitting, unlike structured carriers.
I really like this Soul Slings ring sling because of the lightweight, yet super supportive material it’s made out of. I chose this gorgeous print because I loved how fancy it looked. I pictured wearing this ring sling with a Free People-esque outfit to give it a bohemian flair.
Most of my other rings slings are solid colors so this particular print just jumped out at me and I knew I had to add it to my stash.
Why Soul Sling?
AFFORDABLE:
Soul Slings has amazing ring slings in a variety of colors and prints, all at surprisingly low prices. Prices start at just $23 USD making them one of the most affordable SAFE baby carriers on the market. Soul sling is a BCIA member and their slings are CPSIA compliant!
NATURAL FIBERS:
Soul Slings are made in India from 100% natural fibers! I am a huge fan of anything made from natural fibers like as cotton, linen, silk, and wool because they are naturally antimicrobial and they help regulate your temperature in hot and humid climates. Sure, natural fibers can take a little bit to break them in, but it’s totally worth it. You end up with a much higher quality, better performing product than most synthetic materials. Plus you don’t have to worry about chemicals near you or your baby.
